Ingredients

  • Chickpeas
  • Olive Oil
  • Tuna

Instructions

  • Heat the chickpeas somehow: in a microwave, in a pan with some water. Drain. Open the tin of tuna, flake it with a fork, and stir a good amount into the chickpeas. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Stir & serve warm.

Notes

If starting with canned chickpeas, drain and rinse them first. If you have cooked your own chickpeas, drain them (save and freeze the broth for a future use!) You may wish to top the servings of the chickpeas off with fresh tomato slices, chopped green, red or plain onion, or any fresh herbs you have to hand. Also nice with a squirt of lemon juice.
