Cornstarch Glaze for Bread or Rolls Recipe
A beautiful glaze for bread or rolls.
- Whisk together in a small saucepan, heat till just starting to boil.
- Lower to a very slow simmer, and whisk frequently until thickened and opaque.
If you want to always have some on hand, double or triple the recipe and refrigerate. Use up within a few weeks. Brush on bread or rolls about 10 minutes before the baking time is up, and then once more about 3 minutes before you take them out of the oven.
