Creole Red Silverskin Garlic

Creole Red Silverskin Garlic belongs to the Creole sub-group of the Silverskin group of garlics, itself a subgroup of softneck garlics. It has fewer cloves than others in the Creole Group such as Burgundy and Ajo Rojo, only 4 to 6 cloves, but they are larger cloves.

The garlic has a strong and full but not overly hot taste.

It is good raw, though it also retains its flavour well when cooked.

Creole Red Silverskin Garlic is popular in Louisiana.
