History Notes
Gemchip Potatoes were developed jointly by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the University of Idaho from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “BR5960-9” and “ND5737-3.”
During development, the potato was referred to as “BR7093-24.”
