The flesh walls are thick.

They grow to be about 12 inches (30 cm) wide by 14 inches (36 cm) tall, and weigh 15 to 20 pounds (6 ¾ to 9 kg.)

History Notes

Half-Moon Pumpkins were developed by the Twilley Seed Company.

Released 1989.

Language Notes

Half-Moon Pumpkins are perhaps named after Half Moon Bay, California, USA, where an annual pumpkin festival is held.
