Fat Boy Pumpkins

Fat Boy Pumpkins have dark, orange-coloured rind, with large green handles. They are large pumpkins, easily weighing up to 30 pounds (13 ½ kg.) They grow on a vine-type plant with high yields. 120 days from seed. History Notes Fat Boy Pumpkins were released in 1997.

Fortuna Pumpkins

Fortuna Pumpkins are uniformly-sized, medium-sized pumpkins. They are aimed at growers in the tropics. History Notes Fortuna Pumpkins were developed at the Puerto Rico Agricultural Experimental Station at Río Piedras, Puerto Rico from a native pumpkin strain over seven generations. Released 1950.

Gele Reuzen Pumpkins

Gele Reuzen Pumpkins are round with pale skin, almost no ribbing visible, and sturdy handles. They will weigh 65 to 120 pounds (30 to 55 kg.) 125 days from seed.

Gladiator Pumpkins

Gladiator Pumpkins have good orange colour with moderate ribbing and large, firm handles. They weigh 15 to 25 pounds (7 to 11 kg.) F1 hydrid. Language Notes During development, Gladiator Pumpkins were referred to as “HMX 2689.”
