Katsuobushi Dashi Recipe

Katsuobushi Dashi is a simple Japanese stock recipe, based on dried flakes of tuna.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Water
  • ½ cup Bonito Tuna Flakes

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to boil in a pan over medium heat.
  • When the water is getting ready to boil, add the tuna flakes.
  • When it does start to boil, remove the heat. Strain out and discard the tuna flakes.
