History Notes

Menominee Potatoes were developed jointly by Michigan State University and by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) from a cross between Richters Jubel potato and a potato referred to Seedling 44537.

Released 1944.

Language Notes

Named after Menominee Indian Reservation in Wisconsin.
