Red Gold Potatoes are round potatoes about 2 inches (5 cm) long. They have pale reddish-orangish skin with some netting, and yellow flesh.
These are waxy potatoes, but they were marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.
Not being grown commercially as of 2006.

History Notes
Red Gold Potatoes were developed in 1970 jointly by Agriculture Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “G68211” and “G6521-4RY.”
During development, the potoato was referred to as “G7015-11RY.”
Released 1987.
