Salmon butter is a flavoured butter made by mixing 1 part puréed cooked salmon (fresh or smoked) with almost 3 parts butter. This mixture is then forced through a sieve. It’s used as a garnish for grilled meats and fish.
An inexpensive but great tasting salmon quiche.
This makes a great brunch or weekend breakfast dish, and at a very low cost, depending on what you are using for the fish.
These are great to have in the freezer for quick meals. Make and cook them, and then you can just take them out, thaw and reheat as needed.
