History Notes

AC Glacier Chip Potatoes were developed at the University of Wisconsin in 1975, with participation by the Government of Canada through its Agriculture Canada Research Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta. They were developed from a cross between Wischip Potatoes and a potato referred to as Wis69-49.74.
