Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Onion large, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic chopped
  • 1 can Baked Beans
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Herbs
  • 4 cups Vegetable Stock
  • ¾ cup Pasta

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, heat the oil, and dry the garlic and onion till softened.
  • Add the beans with their sauce, the ketchup, the herbs, the stock and the pasta.
  • Simmer until pasta is tender; this should be about 10 minutes.

Notes

The tin of baked beans should be about 400 g, the standard size tin.
Use whatever dried herbs you have to hand and happen to fancy.
For the pasta, use shaped pasta rather than spaghetti.
