Mock Marzipan Recipe

For those with nut allergies. You can use another flavouring such as orange or rosewater, if you wish.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 oz Semolina
  • 5 oz Icing Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Custard powder
  • 1 Egg White
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Mix together all the dry ingredients.
  • Beat the egg white lightly, then add it to the dry ingredients along with the vanilla extract. Mix it until it forms a firm, smooth paste, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until needed.
